The best way to get to Dorado from San Juan is to rent a car and drive into town.
Traveling by rental car from San Juan International Airport to downtown Dorado should take approximately 33 minutes without traffic.
However, if you don't feel like driving, you can also take a bus/taxi from the airport to Dorado.
Since Dorado is frequented by tourists and expats, many buses run between the airport and the city.

If you are interested in culture, Dorado has many museums and galleries to help immerse you in Puerto Rican culture.
The Dorado Museum of Art and History exhibits Taino artifacts found near Ojo del Buey Beach.
Another historical place worth visiting is the Casa del Rey museum. The structure of this building dates back to 1823 when Puerto Rico was still part of the Spanish Empire.It is now a museum documenting the history of Puerto Rico and displaying some of the island's best-preserved relics.
Near the center is the Salvador Rivera Cardona Gallery, also known as the La Plata Gallery.
